- CCTV experience
- Clean MVR
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to navigate Word, Excel, Outlook and internet-based applications.
- Monitor multiple radio/phone networks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled and random foot patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking structures, stairwells, rooftops, and perimeter fencing
- Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, log visitors, and enforce access control policies
- Operate CCTV systems, alarm panels, and two-way radios to maintain situational awareness
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, and suspicious activity
- Verbally de-escalate confrontations with trespassers, unauthorized persons, or disruptive individuals
- Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Lock and unlock doors, gates, and windows at designated times
- Perform environmental and safety checks (fire extinguishers, lighting, leaks, hazardous conditions)
- Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic as needed
- Maintain a visible, professional, and authoritative presence at all times
- Remain alert and vigilant during low-activity overnight hours, often as the sole officer on site
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours per shift)
- Ability to walk several miles per shift over varied terrain, including pavement, gravel, grass, and slopes
- Ability to climb and descend stairs quickly and repeatedly
- Ability to run short distances in response to emergencies
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead
- Ability to push, pull, or operate heavy doors, gates, and manual barriers
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)
- Sufficient vision (corrected or uncorrected) to monitor CCTV and identify persons at a distance, including in low-light environments
- Sufficient hearing to detect alarms, radio communications, and unusual sounds
- Ability to enter and exit a vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Swing and/or overnight shifts; exact hours vary by post assignment
- May include weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules
- Schedules are subject to change at the request of the client
- Shifts are contractual and can be discussed during interview
- Exposure to outdoor elements during patrols
Work Location: In person, Greater Phoenix Area
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
